It's 100% happening, there's plenty of the red Chinese banners saying start of construction as well as the construction fence with render of both towers.

Taller due to spire. In real life it will be shorter.

I wait for cladding everyday. It's weird they didn't start yet.

Perhaps they encountered problems with the test panels and their contractor needs more time to produce and deliver the new panels?

It will have cladding soon enough. I'm enjoying seeing it as unfinished concrete for now.

In the first of those four pictures, the site almost seems vacant. Where are all the workers, we can't see any?

...or?

Then you realize they are there, but they are tiny compared to the tower. I think I spot one where the leftmost diagonal truss meets a horizontal beam near the "top floor" of current construction around the core. He stands there as a tiny cluster of pixels, barely noticeable in the vast building around him. In the last picture, you can clearly see a few workers in a similar position on the same floor, but they appear to have walked over to the right side of the structure between pictures.

And then you realize this building still has a three-digit amount of metres left to its ultimate height. Damn, this will be a big tower.

Just a question - is it convenient to built a new skyscraper next to Pingan? Or whatīs going to be build in the space just next to Pingan? Wouldnīt be better to make there some small lake, lawn, garden or something very original for example?? Thereīs not much surroundings around such a megatall, what would be on a account of aesthetics, what do you think?
