I have seen some bad rumours that that building might get massive height cut...could be around 200m only

@lukahead6
Thank you! Cool "render".
There isn't much progress regarding the International Trade Center. I have my doubts regarding its completion in the next five years. But hey...what do I know..this is China nevertheless!

Again, this is probs in the longer run Ala 2020-2025

What is crazy is that most of the development is actually not even in this frame, i picked an angle of the city which does not do Shenzhen justice if you want to understand the scale and scope of construction. Most of it is happening behind the camera, which if panned leftwards only slightly would add a dozen new projects to the frame (shum yip super tall duo with taller tower at 390m), Seg Hitachi super tall twins, Wenbo tower, Weillin Mall 2x200m), Shenzhen Media Building (230m), construction bank, galaxy project (which is visible from this location). Pan the camera rightwards and you get a 368m tower (world finance center).

The thing is that turning around the camera completely to take a photo of the development of the hundreds of buildings in the Qianhai, Nanshan backdrop, will soon be a challenge because of Tairan Redevelopment which will put a super tall right in your way from this tower, as well as 2 or 3 other skyscrapers, one of which is 270ish meters...

If Platinum gets built,and Baishizhou redev is done, as well as Shenwan towers are built, shenzhen could have 4 megatalls by 2025.

Shenzhen ain't playing...

the perspective is a bit odd but this pic gives a good impression of what is going on. the amount of projects is just incredible.

That is one of the renders for the tallest of the Shenwan Station Towers. Other renders make it look like Chow Tai FOok in Guangzhou.
