If you're talking about the black grid thing it will for sure be covered up. The panels covering it will just be larger.

Several days ago I was crossing SZ - HK border and when I was already on the MTR train, I was shocked to see that big monster so close to the border. Looks like Shenzhen wants to show off everything it may show!

From the one side of the border you see a mega city (Shenzhen), from the other there are only mountains, valleys and forests. And this is Hong Kong. That place has your mind changed!

Shenzhen is definitely growing, I'd say its officially got a grander skyline then HongKong starting from those last few pics.

I doubt if it will ever get that dense. Shenzhen has much more space to build and it has huge parks.

agree. There will probably some "hotspots" with quite dense areas but the whole city will indeed never be that dense.

Wiki shows it as being about 940 meters high. Not sure at what height that little observation tower is, but it looks to be even with the tower tops of Shenzhen. Looks to be a great photo op point for sure, though!
