Since the last major group of photos of PingAn, I see that:

cranes have jumped again;

they are working on a 3-storey high mechanical/structural floor group.

I think the tower begins to taper after these mechanical floors?

Thank you for the link Much appreciated.

I am particularly interested on the jack-up system of those cranes if they are indeed self-climbing cranes. Also, those humongous steel brackets are mind boggling too as far as installation and dismantling are concerned.

Only the corners! And it won't be directly after the mechanical floor, it will be one or two floors above that. The actual sides won't taper for another ~15 floors.

I love the design of this building. It reminds me of the early designs for the ICC in Hong Kong.

oscillation,, wonderful diagram!
Wow, This has reached 457met,, Surpassed Taipei 101's roof? and 15 meter's taller than ESB's Needle.... And Anything in the USA, Surpassed Sear's tower, and that's it for the USA and Rooftops.

and still has 30% to go. Nice.
Kind of make's me ache for the Chicago Spire.....

Doesn't matter, this is in terms of growth; I'm almost certain Shenzhen will be economically and financially more powerful than Hong Kong in a matter of a few years, although I'm sure Hong Kong will still be a cultural hub for quite a while. Honestly, it doesn't really matter because Shenzhen and Hong Kong are already so intertwined in many aspects and can be regarded as one city; and sooner or later the entire Pearl River Delta. And back to skylines, Hong Kong's number of projects and growth has declined quite a bit whilst on the contrary Shenzhen is the fastest growing city on Earth so...
