It's a very nice preview showing the geographical locations at the same time.

At the 1:32 mark there is another design for Dalian International Trade Center that didn't win.

That makes no sense.
When the majority doesn't know on what position Ping An stands why should they ignore it?

Furthermore Ping An will be by far the tallest building in Shenzhen and at least the 4. tallest building with 600m for a while behind Mekka Royal Clock Tower. And also for a while indeed the second tallest building in china.
All other higher than that (Kingdom Tower, Zhongnan Center, Wuhan Greenland Center etc.) will be finished after Ping An.
So i don't think Ping An will be only one ordinary skyscraper for the Shenzhen people.
The bold part was a typo. I meant At least a few would known the fact Ping An would would be the tallest in china prior to the height reduction

The first design was also my favorite, but i like the current design too. I think when it's finished and cleaned it will look great.

I'm going to be in Shenzhen next month, I wonder what it'll look like then... Hopefully topped out? Anybody in Shenzhen want to hang out with a Canadian and his girlfriend, let's grab a drink at the St. Regis bar in the KK100!

Nice picture, but it highlights how much less futuristic this will look than the original render.

Hey, look on the bright side. Will have last occupied floor and roof at the same height, with or without the spire.

I think it looks great both with and without the spire, the blue skies also help

I totally lost the interest in the building. Without the spire, Ping An looks average in design and not unique.

It's not only not average, it's outstanding awesome!
By far the best nighttime pictures of Ping An ever!
It looks so gigantic!
Can't wait till it's finished.
If someone feels this is average, what should they build to top this beauty?

I`m very excited how they change the crown design now without a spire. Or at least a few meters spire...
