True but thanks to the Civil aviation department we will always be left pondering "What could have been ?".
I am over the pingan height cut , but what awaits at qianhai is really depressing .It was set to be the greatest project on earth. Till the nut jobs at the aviation department went all crazy.

I think it makes me sad because I used to think Shenzhen had unlimited potential with respect to development and height and it sucks to see that there are limitations imposed by the aviation authority.

The biggest problem with Shenzhen is the attitude of the government. It wants it to be some kind of support center for Hong Kong. At least if you read the official translated press releases and honestly you will remain a middle income city forever if you just think big but act like mediocre support staff.

Qianhai is pushing people into a horrible financial turmoil as they bought lands at record prices assuming they will build 500 Mts every next block now they realise they can only build upto 150 Mts and they can't justify the price with the available floor area . Those constructors have now gone on strike literally. Its just slowly turning into a disaster. This whole trying to connect with Hong kong thing is a flawed idea from the very onset as Hong kong has its economy and its own issues which are different from mainland and they shall naturally oppose integration and it is going nowhere.

China has a 11.5 trillion USD economy. Deep Capital in the country, They should just simply try to build a financial sector with incentives, capital, financial infrastructure both hard and soft . Global financial houses definitely want to play a role here. Instead for stupid political reasons they are trying to integrate with Hong Kong step wise and it is the main reason why they choose qianhai bay ( proximity to HK ). Which is right next to the damn airport.

People keep asking me central planing seems to be working in China . I say no market forces work, State works when it is limited to building infrastructure and when it comes to large scale projects like qianhai states always throughout their history messed up . China simply is no exception.

I would never do that. It looks cheap and anyone interested will google this building or contact the brokers anyway.

Because they are selling another building called kingkey binhe shidai which is 300M in Futian, it is nearly finish and because they are the same company so they try to use this free ad to sell it. It is just ok, not too bad. Funny.
