I think the concrete on the bottom is just temporary. if they really reached the bottom, there should be at least some of the piles sticking of the ground.

If anyone is wondering, this hole is definitely bigger than ST's (back then) hole. Remember that most of the area under the deck is dug out and hence it is part of the hole as well, like the area between the 2 circles.

Just to illustrate, notice the drive way for the trucks from the small hole to the big hole:

Indeed, they've held a bottoming out ceremony on Oct 27

As you can (just barely) see on the billboard, the depth is approx 29.5 meters

Yeah, they're using one of the renders that does not show a spire. Ping An goes back and forth quite a bit in terms of using the spire/spireless renders

(This is not yet confirmed by Ping An, KPF, Thorton T. so it's not official)

Crazyboyxzy from gaoloumi attended a structural engineering lecture at Shenzhen University. The lecture was presented by China Construction Design International's chairman and head of engineering Fu Xueyi. It was revealed during the lecture that that Ping An IFC's height to the roof is 600m and height to the tip of spire is 660m. Contrary to the 588m/648m that we knew.

Here are some photos:

1. leaflet handout.

2. Fu Xueyi explaining the effects of earthquake on the building

3. Info on the building's height. Total height 660m. Highest floor reachable by people 558m

4. Structural diagram

5. Structural diagram

6. Effect of strong wind

7. "Won't collapse in a strong quake"

8. + 9. + 10. More info on quakes

11. + 12. Structural floor plan

This image looks photoshopped. Those forums are full of liars, I don't believe this rumor

Unprofessional too, you can still see some left over from texts that was erased and replaced with 558. The 666 and 460,069 is too close to the "----" aka horizontal bars.

yeah, crazyboyxzy explained here that Fu Xueyi said the ppt had a typo, that number should be 558 rather than 549 that was originally on there. So crazyboy photoshopped that number.

Fake news, as usual in ss.cn, etc, where nobody even bothers to add sources for anything they post
