Hi all.

It looks like a hold on construction ...

I hope nothing so formal, but there is a definite 'pause' happening.

I think they are still excavating the site. Remember that whole block is 4 stories down, and all we can see are the 2 holes where the towers are.

Hi Munwon.

Looking at pics posted previously here including some from the lower levels, they did excavate the entire podium as they did the top down proceedure leaving the main structure holes as they went.

Hello Fury.
It was a top-down process, and alot of dirt was moved. I'm sure things will pick up soon on this amazing project. Exciting times to be into skyscrapers and all things tall and bold

true indeed I think that the site is just so big that any small progress that is happening we cant really tell from the pics. I don't think this was ever in a complete 'pause'

Hi all.

I don't think its really on hold - just no visible change in the bottom of either hole nor on the ground level of the podium in 6 weeks.

10 11 08

10 12 18

There are some changes on the hotel site though.

ciekawy projekt. dziwi mnie wształt placu budowy. niby jednp podpiwniczenie i 2 wielkie otwory a jeden wieżowiec. a może będzie drugi? patrzać na kształt otworu uważam,że powinien być okrągły wieżowiec.

The second, smaller hole will probably be for the podium foundations and a parking maybe? Where are all those cars going to park anyway if the area is so dense?

Can you imagine the both cities Hong Kong and Shenzhen join each other. I've heard that it was the Hong Kong government idea to do so ... in that case the HK Shenzhen metropolis would be the third biggest city in the world.
