Really love this supertall. Its one of those buildings that, when you haven't been looking as much at the skyscraper websites for awhile and think back on what you last remember, this gets me all excited to start looking again cause its so unique and beautiful. I am one of them that wouldnt want them to change anything from the concept pictures.

It will. The eight rectangular holes around the big round hole are where the supercolumns are going to be.

Now what are they doing? It seems they will dig again to reach the super piles.

Hi all.

Yes, they're breaking the concrete rings as they dig.
Looks like they will probably dig down to the pile concrete with the rebar sticking up then pour a big raft slab to tie the piles together. That may well be deep enough for level B5 and they could top down the podium another level.

This would be a reasonable course of action after hand digging the piles.
The same steps done on any project of this height - just in a very different order than most - and with some very different methods.

I enjoy getting updates from this project - very interesting.
I presume once the foundation stage (of the construction phase) is complete this project will be using familiar proceedures (like the ST).

A simple, but beautiful building. With this design, the spire belongs.
The foundation work sure is taking a long time.
