If you click the link in KPF website which leads to http://www.skyscraper.org/EXHIBITION...TALL/intro.htm it gives the height of 648 m/2126 ft. Someone did a mistake somewhere.

Never the less, you should use a different image host in the future, if you want anyone on this board to see the images you post.

I've seen this a lot lately:

"1788111" explained this situation and I think it is reasonable.
During the Universiade most of the construction sites in Shenzhen were demand to stop their work while Ping'An applied for not stopping its work.(It may cost some time to find the ralated notice)
But trucks carrying soil and dirt were not allowed to go onto the road, not to mention the construction site locates in CBD.
So they just moved the surrounding to the central part to make it easier for the later process.

I see! That explains so much. I was wondering why it seemed there was a mound in the center. When will the games be over anyways?

YannSZ, your post shocked me...

...then I realised that you were talking about the Universiade and not about the tower.

Hopefully the officials who issued that order are being executed asap. But I guess "total lack of common sense" isn't a crime in China or in any other country, otherwise the world would run out of politicians in just a few days.

In the future you have to chose your words more carefully.
In this thread (or any SZ thread) your words are of great importance.
