This is reminiscient of Central Park. I think the Taunusanlage park could benefit greatly from the Kaiserkarree. Maybe some beergardens?

As far as the building's prospect for construction goes, current projects like Parktower and OpernTurm will pretty much be filled up once they are completed. Thus, the rate of return for the "KaiKa" can be expected to fulfill the investors' expectations.

Blends in well with the existing buildings.

Yes, Metzler is required as well. But I am not too optimistic about that.

OOooOO another torre for Frankfurt...we want someone here in barcelona...

Also, the design is very bad and old...too much simply, maybe in the '70s...but not at 2010...

I agree that the design is nothing to get enthusiastic about, but every skyline also needs 'skyline filler' buildings and this is one of them. Right now, Frankfurt's skyline still has a lot of 'holes' from several directions. Buildings like that help to close them.

This tower is horrendous. It looks like something out of the 70's

it's well enough for Frankfurt/Main anyway

a good gap-filler maybe, nothing outstanding *yawns*
Why there aren't any more courageous designs for FFM?
