IMO the most necessary project. Great news that it's coming up that soon now after years of standstill... Seems to me, that Frankfurt begins to boom?!

tishman speyer was obviously so positively surprised about the success of the opernturm that they decided to go with kaiserkarree too. 2 tishman speyer skyscrapers u/c at the same time in frankfurt - that's new.

I would lmao if they rented out kaiserkarree very quickly and decided to go with a third project - Im thinking of the neue mainzer skyscraper

yeah, in my opinion neue mainzer straße is more important than marieninsel. neue mainzer straße would be great. i would like to see more renders of it in the nms-thread (i don't know, if someone has already opened a thread, anyway... i would like to see more renders of it.).

The last days there seem to come up some action around this place. A first excavator is onsite and some works in the ground around that site is ongoing. Hard to say if it is already for preps/demolition like cutting supplies. The German office of TS confirmed that they are working with high pressure on this project and that they want to start as soon as possible.

in this Pictures, shot of top of the highrise "Skyper" u can see the area very good which is to be demolished, also u can see the buildings as they are right now...

I guess so, skybridges are getting rare in Frankfurt

One is already lost at the Parktower which was connected to a lowrise beside via such a skybridge...

some news:

the design of the tower has been changed, now slimmer but taller (still 80,000 sq m)
the height has been increased to 150m

no renderings available yet

would be fantastic, if there were no politicians in frankfurt... i bet they hate the new height and wont give it admission, so we will have to wait longer to see this new highrise grow... also, i liked the old design with the stone fascade and all those edges (now it will be another box..)

they already said to projects in general that 150meters height are okay.

afaik kaiserkarree was only approved with 115m height, and investor bought +20m with the deal of enhancing the nearby park.. so i am wondering if they approve the 150m version... anyway, here is how it could look like
