the local government wants more residential space in the city center, especially the banking quarter. I'm pretty certain we will see more of this in the future. I think it is even a requirement to provide some residentail space somewhere in the vicinity anyway, if you want to build an office tower.

I hate this new version of the development! And I don't like that residential tower at all! I like the old version of this development. I thought Commerzbank was going to occupy this tower. And the existing building has a wing jutting out to the greenspace.

Not good, great! 160m instead of 135m is good news. And another 60m residential. I am curious about the design...

Yes, its fantastic news. Should provide enough density and height to change the character of this corner. The banking district will become even more awesome.

The first renderings should appear in March, right?

hm 60m is pretty short for that area i think... but probably they want to save some park views for other coming and existing towers, who knows. and living in the citycentre will become more and more attractive in the future i guess. you could save 2h of driving to your office every day when you live in the tower next door to your workplace.

It already does.

However, this building is incredibly boring to look at. It's a bad flashback to bland 1960-70s international style.

Do you know something? The new renderings will be presented mid March.

Gendo: Did you even read the first page?

However, great news! (I remember I posted them here but they obviously disappeared..) I'm somewhat excited to see the new renders.
