However, at the back portion, will be a Bingo hall or the Puregold entertainment section.
The top photo showing a plywood wall at the end of the corridor is the new branch of a fully- digitalized version of Naga Bingo (now located at SM City Naga).

Ironically the Naga Bingo used to be located on this mall in the past but moved to SM City. They are returning again after Puregold took over the mall.

According to the manager- it would not be manned and would run electronically on its own .

Sayang, we already booked our flights to Singapore this September 15.

We would have saved a lot (70%) as we would be travelling with some of our long term Endolab employees.

Imagine- 70% off? Travelling business class is something that we could not afford and it would have been a great incentive to loyal employees.

and of course, our founder Kevin one of the tour guides of the city. They were assigned to handle delegates from Taiwan. the one with the colored wig Ms. Apple, commended Kevin and his partner for being such great tour guides! wehhh hehehe seriously! and she even gave us (including me) a coin

I talked to another City- hall employed Tourist Guide at CWC yesterday. He was surveying the place in preparation for bringing in the Chinese delegation of the Math Olympiad the next day.

He was a linguist and used to work as a tour guide abroad. He returned to Naga when he learned that the city is hiring tour guides taht would be based locally.

He was hired.

I'm happy to see Kevin is one of them.

2 Chinese Resto to open @ the newest commercial building @ CBD2 near St. Joseph

1. Paopao Xiaochi
2. Gourmet Pao

To rival Bubble Town Tea house

The location is very strategic due to its proximity to SJS, Hope Christian which are both Chinese schools.

Their webpage could be of help.

http://www.biggsdiner.com/v1/

The menu is there but without the price.

But Biggs is very affordable. I have not seen a meal above 150 pesos in the menu.

Finally, a 7-Eleven with huge parking area.

I took a photo of the 7-Eleven Sunny View Hotel (Panganiban) this morning and it is almost finished. I believe it would also open anytime soon.

Same thing with the 7- Eleven CWC/Capitol when we passed there yesterday.

I heard that two other 7 Eleven branches are apparently being built in the City- Ateneo Bagumbayan and Penfrancia Ave. I hope someone would have time to check this out.

The 7-Eleven expansion in Naga City and in CamSur was very impressive. Two existing, three soon to open and two more being built.

Seven branches in less than a year.

7- Eleven in Iriga, Albay District and Nabua will apparently come next.

According to a Jollibee Manager in Naga- the 5th and newest Jollibee in General Luna would not open before the fiesta. Kinapos daw sa oras. I don't know if they already started constructing their Puregold branch.

International Mathematics and Science Olympiad opens in Naga City
By Juan Escandor Jr., Shiena Barrameda
Inquirer Southern Luzon
Sunday, September 4th, 2011

NAGA CITY, Philippines – The 8th International Mathematics and Science Olympiad (IMSO) involving 235 elementary students from 13 countries in Asia, opened here Saturday, with a parade of the participants in their national costumes at the old central business district of this city.
Countries represented in the event that will end Monday are China, India, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Thailand.
Simon L. Chua, president of the Mathematics Trainers’ Guild of the Philippines (MTGP), which has been coordinating the event with the local government of Naga City, said the cities of Bacolod, Davao, Iloilo and Valenzuela vied to host IMSO.
Naga City Mayor John Bongat said he considered it an honor for his city to be chosen to host the event, which has been held in Indonesia in the past seven years.
The delegation of Thailand, headed by Nijvadee Jareamkieatbovorn, had the most number of participants with 68 students joining all competitions.
“I am excited,” said Thai Kantasorn Hornpratraporn, 12, one of the contestants in science for his country.
He said he was selected from some 1,000 elementary students in Thailand, and got into the shortlist of 100 elementary students before finally being picked as one of the final 12 who flew here last Wednesday.
According to Chua, the Philippines has 30 math and 36 science contestants who were given intensive training for two weeks by 30 MTGP trainers.
He said that in past years, the Philippine team had hovered in the top 5 and he hoped to see them land in the top 3 in this year’s event.
Chua named Thailand, Taiwan and Indonesia as the top performers in the recent years.
He said the first round of competition consisted of a written test in science and math, followed by essay type, experiment and exploration tests.
The contestants would be given two hours to finish the experiments in physics, biology and chemistry and another two hours to finish the exploration part, which consists of solving six problems.
Winning contestants would be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals. The country with the most medals wins the Olympiad.

It is no wonder that Bicolanos love Ina so much if at the young age of Nicole, she already has full grasp of what the whole devotion to Her is all about (and write about it to boot). I learned a lot from her article, thank you! I myself have experienced granted wishes through Ina's intercession and am looking forward to yet another encounter with her.

Talked to the HR head of Sutherland Cam Sur for their scheduled Employability Program in various schools in the Bicol Region. He mentioned of adding 1,000 more in their existing 1,200 employees before the month ends. As for their Legazpi operation, Embarcadero is the target site with an initial of 400 employees to start the operation to commence before the year ends. He also mentioned about the aggressive campaign of Convergys here in Naga and their recruitment site is sometime to start early next year.

I think they were asked to write about the Pagsungko in School.

But sometimes the children surprise, us, adults on how they perceive on things that sometimes we think that kids think for granted.

They do beleive in miracles- no matter how small they are.

Wow! Thanks for this very good information which will generate considerable employment to fellow bicolanos And finally (!!!), Embarcadero will jumpstart its being also an ideal BPO site with the commencement of Sutherland operations. With all the hype man pano ay sobra naaluy man so bpo component kaini kaya maogma man Naga/CamSur and Legaspi cities are now going into the next phase of being major sites for these companies ta we have the right ingredient for such
