Hi

there have been a number of recent projects implemented in iran recently such as staduims and track and field facilities

included in this there is a 40,000 roof covered staduim being built in the compounds of the azadi sports complex

if any one has any new pics or updates please could they post them here as i am curious to see what the latest phases of the project are

It was a really beautiful too.
Small (45 thousand capacity), but they made it to look like Bam.
I searched for pictures on the internet but not even the official site of Mes had it (http://www.messport.com/). So we need to wait until the stadium is finished before we can see some pics.

I took this picture in Arak last year . It’s a 15-20k seat stadium under construction . It looks decent and it surprises me because Arak doesn’t even have a team in the IPL

They do but i dont think their are good

Arak's team currently plays here

Arak has a team called "Sanaye Arak" and it is in division 1 and is quite good team.

I heard Shiraz and Ahvaz will be getting 70k and 50k stadiums soon. Also Naqsh-Jahan stadium is expanding to a 75k.

100 Sports Complexes for Tehran

Head of Tehran Municipality’s Sports Organization announced that more than 100 sports complexes will be built in Tehran.
Mostafa Ajorlou told the first conference on sports in neighborhoods that Tehran has a population of 8 million and sports affairs should be controlled by the private sector.
He added that sports activities are an obligation for men and women. He said a major project should be started in Tehran which calls for cooperation from district municipalities and deputy mayors.
