hmm, just about the pictures,
shouldent we post photos of our cities that arent the same old same old?
Maybe shots of hoods, and skylines from unique points of view,
and who said it had to be the skyline?

That picture could easily have been taken in Minneapolis too. It is the generic Midwestern neighborhood.

well, it reminds me alot of my hood, except mine has a little more brick and alot of the 60's vynyl siding has been removed from homes.

With the exception of St. Louis or Cincinnati. This would more than likely be found in our 3rd ring suburbs.

true,
central cincy and st.louis generic hoods are brick townhouses with fantastic plaster/iron/ and exterior stonework.
Most midwestern cities just have smaller downtown hoods of federal townhousing, while cincy and st.louis have massive amounts of it!
I find it amazing that old victorian houses with such ornate work are considered modest in cincy and st.louis! quiet thrilling!

i'm assuming you mean 3rd ring of neighborhoods, which might be technically suburbs. i find it hard to believe st louis & cincinnati consist of the city, then two rings of suburbs, and then neighborhoods like that.

with that in mind, here is a picture of exurban milwaukee:

What does the interior of the domed structure look like?

Here are a few shots of the inside, not the best, but you get the idea. Also a few random shots of the area. Yeah, it is a Cathedral, and Minneapolis has a Basilica.

Keep in mind that Historically Mt. Auburn is Cincinnati's first suburb:
