Let's make this clear: Cincinnati's "first" ring of suburbs (Mt. Auburn, Clifton Heights, and Price Hill) and "second ring" (Clifton, Northside, Corryville, Hyde Park) are within city limits, for those that don't know. What Cincinnatus is talking about are the third wave of 1860's suburbs (which are a combination of outer-neighborhoods such as Oakley and Carthage and actual suburbs such as St. Bernard, Lockland, and Norwood). That isn't to talk about literal interpretation of "suburbs" today, as Cincinnati's current "third ring" suburbs are basically Kings Island, an Ikea, and a Jim with a Jungle in it.

That is an amazing cathedral in SP!
I love that Cincy has suburbs from the civil war.
The Old north, Woodruff place, and Herron Morton(aswell as others) used to be suburbs here in Indy in the mid-late 19th century, but now they are downtown.
I find it very funny how things like that happen, but one thing is for sure.
Older suburbs are a hell alot nicer than modern vynyl siding suburbs!
I think its cool though that Cincy and St.Louis have "suburbs" from the early 19th, and mid 19th century.

My wife used to work for a law firm in the "Gold Building". The sun reflecting off that sucker is intense depending on the time of year.

That isn't a boat house. It is the Lake Harriett Bandshell. They have free live music there on the weekends during the summer. It is nice, you can bring a blanket and lie on the grass and listen to good music all afternoon.

You consider Woodruff, Herron and Old North as downtown? I don't consider anything outside of 65/70 "downtown". Just my opinion though.
