yeah, Cinci looks very cool and will need to check it out soon. This may have been debated quite a bit already, not sure but does Cinci consider itself southern, "semi southern" midwest or northern? just wondering.... I like how Ohio has so many good size cites...seems Texas is the "new Ohio"

The thing that I like about Cincinnati, Columbus, and Cleveland is that they each have their own feel and characteristics, and they do them all really well. |

Thanks for the cinci info, I plan on getting there soon I hope. Last summer we did a rustbelt tour of Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Detroit.....For the record I'm no big fan of Texas but just the fact that it has many large cities like Ohio does, made me think how Ohio was probably quite a booming state (like Texas now) 60-70 years ago.....

those are palaces compared to the 60's fortress that I went to high school in! (then again, if that was my high school, those statues would have been vandalized to crap...)

Yeah, ohio in general has a influx of architectural gems in their public school systems. Columbus as well has spent large amounts of money to renovate and restore old buildings instead of taking the cheaper route of building new schools if there is architectural value. I'll have to post some pics sometime if I get a chance.
