Beautiful!
Wow, Tokyo is booming!
And the best thing is that they're building creative stuff!

This is my favourite highrise design. The shape, the vertical stripes, the huge windows, the detailing -- the overall quality of this tower is just stunning. The tapered design makes it curve inwards towards a a sharp roof eliminating any sense of this tower being stubby. Quite honestly, this would look great in any city.

This is my absolute favourite (apart from the different, but equally stunning Comcast Centre in Philadelphia) high rise building.

Beautiful in its detail and overall design. Magnificent!

The cocoon webbing lines, or whatever they are, give the illusion that the facade has depth, yet it is perfectly smooth, so it messes with your mind. Great highrise

Love this tower, Nishi-Shinjuku was starting to need a non-boxy building.

I took these when I went to Shinjuku on 5/25/08. This tower is so cool in person and that goes for all of Japan! It was a shame the weather was not all that great. Sorry for posting them a little late.

This image was taken from the Tokyo Tower's 250m OB Deck on 5/19/08. This was taken using 10x zoom; Shinjuku is much further than it looks.

To my surprise, it DOES stand out among all the other taller buildings from certain angles.

This is the perfect excuse to plan a new trip to Tokyo
