Looking very good. Drove by this evening. Looked like they were having some type of special event there. Lots of people in the lobby. Looks excellent with the nice lighting in the entry and in the restaurants. I'm trying to figure out what the dark marble (or some kind of stone) low wall is along West Street - between the sidewalk and the main entry. Is that going to be some type of fountain, once the weather warms up? Glad to hear the room booking is going well. The article in this morning's paper (or maybe yesterday's paper) said over 430,000 room nights had already been booked.

I noticed last Friday that new landscaping was going in on the west side of the complex, beyond the loading dock area. A good number of trees (30 or so) are going in. Its not going to hide the big tan wall -- but, at least from street level -- it helps make a nice improvement to the view as you're driving by on W. Washington.

I have always loved the JW project! Even the yellowish part of it. I just did not like the other hotels. Well it is done, hope plans will emerge about another hotel in a few years..

Stayed at the JW Marriott this past weekend. The hotel was great, but the service was incredible. They have certainly set a new standard for Indianapolis. Views weren't too bad either...
