It looks like one of those "personal vibrators" the ladies like so much!

It looks like a bigger version of that red and blue tower in Spain (?) but with some holes.

Not as much as the Chicago Spire, but I do see what you mean

I don't mind the building as much, and the podium is also interesting and integrated (in that sense, the CS is more like the personal tool you're thinking of).

Question - how do those openings do with wind testing? Those palm trees will have to be rather tough!

Don't like it...

Although those ,,windows" with palms are quite an interesting idea...

For anyone not familiar, "Al Quds" ("The Holy City") is the Islamic name for Jerusalem.

The press release confuses me - is the building funded by a pro-Palestinian organization?

Superficially speaking, the vast majority of the Arab world is "pro-Palestinian".

As far as I can tell, the Arab countries are all pro-Palestinian, as long as the Palestinians don't try to come live in *their* countries. Nothing personal, I'm sure.

Even thinking about Middle East politics makes we want to bash my head against a wall. The Arabs, the Turks, the Kurds, the Israelis, all trying to one-up each other on who's harder-core.

Its funded by the government of Qatar and its profits would help the Palestinian people directly.

Excellant point! So much hypocrisy in that part of the world!
