It looks like a 60s building "renovated" with vivid colors. Or maybe they tried to blend with a blue sky?

I'm not sure that I would refer to the Grand Lisboa Hotel in Macau as an "ugly" building, but this would have a four-star design in my opinion, due to its originality. And I never call a four-star design ugly. And by the way, I have came up with a new skyscraper rating system:

One Star means that the skyscraper's design is a total piece of crap
Two stars mean that the design is mediocre
Three stars mean that the design is fair
Four stars mean that the skyscraper's design is high in excellence (It is the highest rating possible)

I can sometimes allow increments of ½ stars (like 3½-star)

(There are already many one- and two-star skyscrapers depicted in this thread.)

It's boxy and the colours are kinda hippies. I wanna come inside to check whether they sell acid or some joints, at least

My opinion is that the Grand Lisbao is UGLY!
Go to Macau and see for yourself!
Macau has only one skyscraper and it looks like a disgusting vegetable!

Good Lord that one in Macau is hideous.

That one in Leicester's pretty funky though, in comparison.

Ladies and gentlemen, my house! (moving out on Sunday)

opal tower, leeds, 82m

excellent student accomodation though - broadband internet, sky gym on the 23rd floor, 550 apartments, flat screen tvs, pool table, ensuites etc

Indeed lots of ugly towers in that view. There's some shockers in the city but there's some lovely buildings also (just not in that view - but i won't post any of the nice ones in this thread)

I know this isn't really a 'skyscraper' and it's not the worlds worst but i still hate it. Only a couple of years old.

And the one on the right isn't much better either!

They look like regular commieblocks, maybe one of them is a bit too colorful... Anyway there are thousands of such buildings in the world. These 2 in Leicester aren't that special.
