I personally don't find meteorites as buildings beautiful in any way. To me it is ugly, and there for i am not kidding for its an opinion

The low rise on the other hand is quite beautiful

I agree with you. This is like modern art vs. traditional art. Modern art aims at stirring some feelings in you. They do not have to be pleased feelings. But I'd like to feel pleased and satisfied. I don't want to feel disgusted and depressed or shocked in a bad way after seeing an art. I am not a big fan of modern art, and not of those kind of buildings either. They make the city look like it is ruined by an earthquake or meterites or whatever, and they are something you have to see everyday. How sad is that. Just because they can do it doesn't mean they should do it.

I think it is ugly. Personally, I think while Boston is generally beautiful, it has some of the ugliest skyscrapers as well as some of the ugliest modern lowrises in the country. Most of the modern buildings in the financial district are insanely ugly. It seems the city experimented a lot with modern architecture, and most of them turned out to be ugly except for John Hancock Tower and 111 Huntington Avenue.

@ Nibez

The university library in Pristina is quite extraordinary imo. I like it because it is just too amazing to be true. A lot of people seem to hate it though, especially in Pristina itself...

btw, the domes refer to the human brain. With that information you might like it a litte more (or even less).

That one looks nice to me. Nothing special, but not vomit-inducing.
