Sure... but many "creations" featured here are not skyscrapers, so I thought this one might be worth showing.

This thing is like the Godzilla of the building world: humongous, scabrous-looking, scary... a total monster!

I love it, very dystopic.

Not really. The amazing buildings thread is full of concrete buildings too. But there's no dystopia like a good old dirty deteriorated concrete monster!

Another building of this type, the 22 story squatted tower Prestes Maia in down town São Paulo.

It has been emptied of squatters in 2006 and I believe it is demolished by know.

For some reason, it doesn't look as nasty and dilapidated in these pictures as in the first one!

This one was already mentioned a long time ago. Another great example of dystopian ugliness indeed!

The Adolphus Hotel with its many additions prior to the early 80s renovation/reclad:

The Adolphus Hotel after the early 80s renovations/reclad:

Do the additions look ugly in its post-renovation state?

The title for the world's most ugly building has a clear and sovereign winner which is the Ryugyong Hotel a.k.a. the Slaughterhotel in Pyongyang

As a São Paulo resident, I am GLAD to inform that there is no trace of existance of this building anymore, and its neighboring smaller building likewise. There is a project for this area, the link to the Brazilian thread is here.

Well, to me it's not only the ugliest existing building, but also the ugliest design possible. In my opinion designing something uglier is impossible
