That's true, but it still isn't good. If I will ever have my own home (LOL, with my income I doubt it ) then I'll definitely will have it in a suburb. I'm living in a suburb now and I love it here. There's a small forrest next to the apartment I live in, it is really nice here. LOL, and it's approximately 5 kilometers from Petržálka

For sure bro, the only ugly building of Bangkok.

Any bigger city on the face of this planet has its fair share of ugly buildings.
Especially cities that have grown at a fast pace in post-war times have loads of ugly modernist monstrosities. And after being to Bangkok: Ja, it definitely has a lot of them which is quite sad. You can easily spot some ugly concrete boxes on the above photos.

Some people would find this concrete boxes beutiful or at least pleasant, some of them might be a bit "cold" but almost never in bad taste it's better if architecture is slightly boring rather than tacky.

Well, I love boxes Btw, that elephant building is extremely ugly, though I still think the Slaughterhotel in Pyongyang is far uglier

Exactly, there are actually buildings far uglier than the Ryugyong

I'm surprised no one has yet mentioned any of those countless monstrosities springing up in Mumbai. Here are two especially ugly ones IMO:

Shreepati Arcade

and Planet Godrej

I didn't think buildings completed in 2002 and 2009 would have this brutal kind of ugliness.

It's ugly yes... but kind of creative! Is it a normal building though, or just a piece of art? I mean, people inside don't get any sunlight!
