I think you need to MAJOR Spoiler Alert that last post, or amend it a bit so you are not ruining the movie for others.

You may not fall into the 'fat' category. Im guessing you must fall into the 'kids these days and their improper use of english' category.

Seen a couple of movies so far this week,
RocknRolla, which is OK, standard Guy Ritchie stuff Hunger, about Bobby Sands and the other hunger strikers, good, but very harrowing, the actor playing Sands must be very dedicated because he looked very, very skinny by the end of the film. The filmmakers won one of the main awards at Cannes and it's not hard to see why. |

Sean Penn is already highly tipped to win best Actor for his role as Harvey Milk. If you don't know much about Milk just do a youtube search for the preview. Very moving stuff. My partner was very lucky to go to the world premiere in San Fran. I think he's still crying now! Apparently Sean Penn is a complete genious in this. Comes out here Jan 29 and I can't wait to see it... |

I saw "Australia" this afternoon, it is pretty good, I was worried in the first few minutes because it started a bit cartoonish, but it soon settled down to be more serious. It didn't seem to be 100% historically accurate towards the end, but it made for an exciting story.

Like OMG!
I just saw High School Musical Three! WOW! It was absolutely fabulouso! So brainless and stupid, lame. I was half asleep, so corny too. I found the audience was funnier than the movie- when Zack Efron (sooo hawt!!) appeared, all these girls got up and started screaming and I was like WTF is wrong with you?? Then when his back appeared without a shirt on, people were just screaming with joy! So was I! (not! lol) At the end with all the songs and dancing, we had people get up and dance in the aisles of the cinema and clap and sing and I was just like.... get over it! It's a movie! Overall? 11/10!

Saw the new James Bond earlier in the week, pretty good, I prefer the modern cold Bond to the "funny" Roger Moore Bond and the too many gadgets Brosnan Bond. The stunt scenes are very well done, and Olga is very nice (but not as hot as Eva Green from the last film).

Quantum of Solace isn't a James Bond film. It's just an action movie with a guy called James Bond and with Dame Judy Dench. The James Bond-ness is bolted on. Perfectly exemplified by the traditional opening and the only use of the James Bond musical theme being at the closing credits!

I'm a big James Bond fan, I've seen them all, and I liked it. They got a little silly and too humerous in the 70's/80's. Brosnan was good, but that last one with the invisible car just got a little over the top, plus they seemed to be milking the product placement cow too much. The last 2 have been great. The Dalton Bonds are under-rated, I think he played it right, more cold killer than Roger Moore funny guy.

Just saw "The day the earth stood still", it is mostly bollocks, 5/10.
I noticed the adds showed Sydney being attacked, but that doesn't happen in the film at all. http://www.smh.com.au/news/entertain...189942436.html |
