I haven't seen the original, but I find the original movies are always better than the remake (Flubber is a good example, saw the 1960's original and thought it was brilliant). If an old movie is made well (even without colour or modern technology) it is really good and any remakes would suck.

I also saw Nim's Island yesterday, I thought it was pretty good

Didn't make it to the movies here, but rent Southland Tales if you enjoyed Donnie Darko. It just came out. I really liked it. Really moody, thoughtful soundtrack by Moby too.

Deception was a horrible movie, lucky to even give it one star

Some nice New York scraper views in it, a lot of it seems to be based in NY office buildings and hotels. Also the Madrid scenes looked more Northern European than I expected for Madrid (I have never been there, but have been to Southern Spain).

But yes the movie wasn't great.

Saw Harold and Kumar today. Very funny movie but IMO, does not pass the first movie. Still had its parts, tho.

I thought a surprisingly good and very funny movie was Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Recently saw "Paris" which was a bit slow but recommended.

The script & acting was generally good; the best thing about the movie was the way it showed everyday life in Paris. It shows what a vibrant, generally friendly city it is beyond the tourisy places. There was only one character (a baker) depicting British stereotypes of French people.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall is pretty good. Gorgeous girls, especialy the brunette that works in the hotel. Only fault is that it goes a bit too long, directors can't seem to edit their movies these days, the puppet dracula musical bit did not work.

The British rock star character was great

What a babe

The brunette was in 'That 70's Show', Mila Kunis. And yes, she is hawt.

Saw Ironman on Wednesday night... and have to say one of the best comic book adaptations so far.

Saw Iron Man.

It was SO much better then i expected it's not even funny.
I'm not a superhero guy at all, but this movie was just plain great.
