Imagine classic analog buttons for floors instead of panels. Whole elevator car would be tagged with them

Baku 2025.. This tower has no spire and stays wide at the top 1050 meters high..

Architecture seen never before, unique forms and shapes, the Azerbaijan Tower Baku is an upcoming project slated for completion in the mid-twenties. If to be realized just incredible.. this tower is massive and stays wide at the top, no spire.. So at 1050 meters high still a floor. I guess the penthouse of the richest man of Azerbaidjan in 2025.. Remarkable project, and video is fascinating. Enjoy!

i don't think what we saw will be the final design. the only real renders we got are still from before they increased the height.

Well the height may increase but what makes you feel that design will change as well?

I don't know if you guys noticed but a latest visualizations even though in high resolution tower still lacks many little details imo. Cladding for example looks like just random flat grid imposed on the structure. And so on. I don't think there will be major changes in structure shape.
I agree, they would have spent a lot of money designing the shape of this tower , because of wind etc. So if there are any changes it would be cladding, or smaller structural changes. I doubt anything major will be changed.

No the cost goes down when you build a bigger building.

I'd rather be a 'slave' in Saudi Arabia than a 'free' man in the US.

Though they are not slaves, they get paid about 1/100th as much as american steelworkers. (30 cents an hour vs 30 dollars an hour)

The delusional world some people live in is utterly baffling, beyond comprehension.

Indeed 2018 is still a long time off..Let's see how the Baku tower becomes!

I agree with all of you who think the design of the Azarbaijan Tower is not the final design. Since... 6 years in the world of real estate is an eternity and a lot can happen. Jeddah Kingdom Tower changed a lot too over time. These mega-projects are iterating processes, -as often in engineering/design- but one thing is for sure: the final assault on the 1 km barrier has started right now and that is a spectacular fact. I look forward to see the Jeddah kingdom Tower rendered into the smallest details, so a photo-realistic version is available soon. Sure hard working is being done right now, Jeddah Kingdom Tower will be ready to make history in 2017!
