Does anyone know how the size of the core compares to the size of the Burj Khalifa's core?

Wonderful project! Are they building just the highest skyscraper, or all of these buildings??

Still think of these buildings as ugly. Looks like a "Alternate Reality Hollywood Movie"-Prop. Probably Science Fiction too.

No se si ya habían visto estas imágenes antes, pero por si a caso para los que no las habían visto o si las quieren ver de nuevo...

Proposed downtown Kingdom Tower area

And an artists impression of the final complex completed in 2017

To maximise natural light in the building, rooms are built around a central core and corridor similar to Burj Khalifa

An artists impression of the effect of kingdom tower's shadow over the city throughout the day

This is the board at entrance to construction site

Are all these towers fully occupied with commercial operations or are they just empty? Just curious!

Have you ever heard something like residential towers, hotel towers or mixed use towers?

Hi all.

Hi Altin.

Have things changed from the foundation drawings we got a year ago ?

They show:
165 - 1500 mm piles at 45 meters depth
15 - 1500 mm piles at 65 meters depth
12 - 1200 mm by 2800 mm barrettes at 85 meters depth
43 - 1200 mm by 2800 mm barrettes at 105 meters depth

Ray.

Didn't they have problems with the sand? I seem to remember them having to add more piles as a result.
