Looks like they are picking up the pace of 2 floors in one week.
So: floor 10 at the end of this year is realistic!

The lower floors always cost more time, and the formwork is already free from grund level now.

^I want a picture looking the opposite side... To see if the concrete has been poured on the first levels.

Not yet i think. But if i see all these steel cages for the core-walls i can't be very long until the first pour.

It has been... they aren't just adding more platforms, it's actually moving as a unit.

In the pics from the 17th, the formworks of the wings are still at level 2. However we can't tell what's with the core formwork...

Can you point to a picture where anything has moved past the initial foundation? That's kind of why I questioned that it was at level six already. To me, it looks as if they have built form works that are 6 levels high, and honestly, we have no idea if there is even concrete in there past the foundation. I can't recall ever seeing form works this high. If it's indeed at level 6 or more, then we should be able to see the core past the foundation. We need some pics from the tower cranes to see whats happening inside.

Pictures updates are becoming more and more important by time
Unfortunately, they are becoming more and more rare by time
The last update with more than one picture was 4 days ago
Why? I don't know! If I were in Jeddah I would be taking a dozen of pictures if not everyday, day after day ...
common guys! no need to make it a picture from every angle! different distances would be nice too

I think people are look forward to seeing the pictures way more whenever they are not here every day. And I think the would look almost the same and become mainstream if they were taken every day. I almost think this is too frequent, cause the pictures seem to be almost the same

Well, I know
But, what I mint is that 4 days without update is so much for a city with millions inside it

Maybe when it at least exceeds 100m above ground updates will be more frequent..

Hi all.

Although, is it me, or do the floors look awfully small? It could just be the distance playing with my eyes, but if you compare the size of construction trailers/offices in front of the building, to the size of the floors, it looks like they are about the same size. Each floor has to be bigger then 6 feet tall, right? But I guess unless you know how far the trailers are from the actual building, then the prospective could be way off.
Hi 4n.

The levels on the jump forms don't normally correspond to the levels on the structure. They can be an indication of the pouring steps of the concrete (although not necessarily) which may not be the same heights as the structure levels.

To clarify, sometimes the levels are higher than the maximum pouring heights possible with the forms so 2 pouring steps are needed. This could very well be the case with the initial levels and various levels throughout construction.

The time to count levels is after the forms jump above the exposed concrete. With reasonable pics we will be able to make out the levels. It is then we can attempt to figure out the levels comparing with the only drawing we have that doesn't have the elevation of every level.

I hope to get a better drawing with every level height and elevation.
I will put labels on certain pics showing the levels if possible, during construction, as I did with the BK and ST.
