Is the floor area really only 2.7 million ft.² (258,000 m²)?
That's large, certainly, but not as much as I would have thought (maybe a little less than 2x that figure). Even BK is about 3.3 million ft.² (309,473 m²), One World Trade is about 3.5 million ft.² (325,279 m²), and Shanghai Tower is enormous at about 4.5 million ft.² (420,000 m²).

In any case, it really kind of puts into perspective how odd some individual's arguments are that they will somehow be unable to fill the building - it's not actually that "big;" tall, yes.

Given this, I'm even more curious now to suss out just what size the base is.
It's must be a (comparatively) slender tower, no?

On the other hand, from what I can see in renders, there seem to be "gaps" every few hundred meters, for mechanical equipment and such. This, as well as a severely tapering roof, could explain why it's not as big as one (well, I) would think.

*It's also true that there are discrepancies internationally in how floor area is measured

I think the small space insude the building is because it is in a triangle form so every floor is smaller

They must finish at least the middle of all the buildings when the KT reach the top because it is in the middle of nowhere

Not really...

Maybe. It also just occurred to me that the core must just be really huge, rather than the actual footprint being narrow.

I'm still insanely curious to know - if anyone here has been able to make an estimation of KT's footprint...

I think it's already taller than any building (excluding churches) in my city...

Understatement of the century. Just look at that bloody thing! It makes the wings look like puny growths.

You clearly missed my point. It's not that fact that they tried, I have no problem with that. It's the fact, that they are arguing about who's Etch-a-Sketch smiley face is better, when there isn't a correct answer. And yeah, go long, like a 1000 yards out, and I'll take your Ear Lobe clean off
Now back to picking out Curtains for you

So none of that is a "podium," then?

Not if alsaif is correct in his assessment that those are indeed elevator doors. Unless maybe I'm misunderstanding you.

The highest level is the level on top

And it is about 10 or 11 levels high I think

Maybe I'm just paranoid, but is anyone else a bit concerned about the quality of the workmanship in the forms? That's a rather rough looking core, and there's a small void on the right. And they're going to put a kilometer of concrete on it!

Yes, the quality doesn't look so good to me too... I hope it just seems so.
