I searched for the comment you replied to but couldn't find it. He said "I could care less" so I was reply "So that means you do care to some extent". When people say that wrong I just have to correct it, call it a nervous tic if you will. Why am I saying this to you? Iunno, you're the closest link I have to that guy and I had to tell someone LOL.

Hi all.

The section drawing we have shows 3 levels below level 1 that appear to be approx. equal in height. The pic quoted above shows level B2 and level B1m(ezzanine) with a non labeled level between - level B1 I presume.

What follows is based on the drawing being accurate and therefore could be incorrect but this is how I see the lower levels.
- Level 1 - Starting elevation 5.900 meters
- Level B1Mezz.
- Level B1
- Level B2 - Starting elevation -7.575 meters

No Ground or Concourse levels.

To help illustrate I've labeled the pic.

We will have to wait for the next shot showing labels to see if this is the case.

I say 7. You heard it here first. Just an educated guess from what development looks like currently. But effectively it can be anything, because in all this development around the world you would need to forecast the next taller one, which could come every day. And maybe is a revival of an old design. So who knows. I hope when kingdom tower is topped out and before it is completed we have the new realistic candidate ready for preparations

Thanks Ray! As always, your input is greatly appreciated. Your diagram is probably closer to the real floor level, than anything I have seen so far, and I agree with you 100%. Seeing the workers compared to the "levels" in the above picture, leads me to believe in your correctness. Thanks again

Ray.
So when they speak of 1,000 meters tall are they going from where those workers are standing.

Hi 4n.

The reason I made that sig (which I truly believe) is because the BK is the first freestanding structure to overtake guyed masts as the tallest manmade structure on Earth. I believe this has opened the floodgates for all the taller structures to follow.

I will always have this sig.

The workers are standing near the starting elevation of level B2 which is at negative 7.575 meters. I haven't seen a drawing showing exactly where 0.00 is but that is where they will measure from.

My guess is 0.00 is the starting elevation of level B1Mezzanine.
Also let me clarify those starting elevations are usually the finished floor elevation (the floor finishing won't be done for a long time).

I guess no one mentioned the completion date on this page and it's too difficult to read a couple of last pages.
