It's not at 1 floor every 4 days yet but not very long and it will rise full speed.

4 days = 1 floor
Since 2014 1st November
And this month is March 4 months (120 days)
The tower must be at least 30 floors

Ohh I see..... so basically you have a kind of tropical weather, with very hot summers.... So I guess the breezee on the highest floors in the summer most be very refreshing.

PS: the exact english tranlation for the spanish comment would be:

"Very beautiful design, if in the future, we could design many buildings like this for the poor people who donīt have a place to live, itīll be great and wonderful, it would be a dream come true to mankind, to live all in harmony"

Nice thought.. but sadly an utopy!!

As ZZ-II said:

It's often so that a building first have a certain height before it's "going up" with maximum speed.
Otherwise your calculation were correct
And as iKHALEDM said:

I will find the source...
In any case 1 floor a week minimum is fast for such an huge and complex building...be patientyou will see that it will raise much faster in this year.

Oh god, how many times did I repeat that !!

4 days = 1 floor (in an approximated average)

the floors are with the biggest areas in the tower, that's why it's almost a floor/week now if not 8 days

I saw a post regarding the temperature and I can't imagine working in those temps day in an day out. At least it's a dry heat.

That being said, a quick google search gave me the stat that the temperature decreases about 5 degrees for every 1,000 feet up. This means that when they're up at 3,000 feet, they'll be experiencing a comfortable ~80 degrees in January. Here's to the workers.

Nope. The highest building in the world is the Bulldog Cafe in Amsterdam.

Can some member put a tower photo when it was 7 or 8 floors compared to the most recent floor? ..

just to see the difference in the length.

why they cover the only highest five floors?

Sure:
26.12.2014
The core is on floor 9, wings on floor 6.

01.03.2015
Last recent picture, core already on floor 14, wings on floor 8.

The "cover" is formwork to pour the concrete.
The lower floors are already finished, concrete is dry so they can pour floors above.
For further information about the formwork process take a look at the companys website: www.doka.com/web/newsroom/pre...m_Tower.de.php

Basically, only the vertical elements of the tower are cast with the yellow devices you see.

The floor slabs (= horizontal elements) will follow.
I expect they will start on the lower floor slabs rather soon.

The World Trade Center also had the yellow covering on about 5 floors back about 1970.
