Unfortunately, we don't have as much photographers for Saudi Arabia as for Dubai for instance. I can ensure you I wan't new pics as much as you, but I think at that stage we wouldn't see anything new. We still have couple of months of soil testing ahead. Main contractor will be announced soon at the end of may, and hopefully so will be design revealed.

I found this Great Video with Smith talking about the Design competition and also mentions Nakheel Tower. Smith also talks about the kingdom tower having a lot of false starts. like proposing it at a mile. which they found out wasn't feasible. and even at a Kilometer wasn't efficient....

Frankly, Mile-High Tower took a long time and the problem
That there is no new news and there is no accurate when it will begin the actual implementation of

You are'nt up to date man. They are testing soil allready, and in few days we will get information about chosen contractor for the tower. Read previous pages for more infos, and pictures.

When this tower is completed, i will go and visit it. Let`s hope they will really build it and it should be much higher than 1km.
