Can't believe how much weight going to be on this foundation !!

900,000 tons !! I mean come on this weight can not be compared to any human made structure, it's like tens of aircraft carriers !! really can't be compared to any human made structure! I'm just not sure about the great Egyptian Pyramid ..

Burj Khalifa was 500,000 tons, this one is almost the double .. !!

Errr.....no. It will probably be 1000-1200m, whereas the Burj Khalifa is 829.8m, so not three times as high.

This may seem like a stupid question but how come we are still unsure about the height? In all this time they havent released an official number?

Thats because they want to keep it a Secret Like Emaar did with Burj Khalifah in case any competing cities or developers want to steal the worlds tallest title.

Stuff like this has Been done since the 1920s-1930s American skyscraper Building boom. And was done at the Chrysler building too by erecting a secret 185 foot spire right before topping out.

article below

http://mentalfloss.com/article/31138...ll-last-minute

but in this case tho u can roughly estimate the final height once the building is well under way, because of the Pyramid shape and its Termination point based on the angles. unless they decide to do several floors with the exact same width or add a crazy pole spire on top.

But whenever someone finally does get around to building a 3000m tower 80% of it will probably be spire.
