I assume you were responding to my outdoor elevator post. I meant on the outside of the building, but with glass around them, like the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta. It would be the ultimate thrill ride!

One problem might be that outside lifts would be a degree or two off-vertical.

Atrium? How high will it go? Or is this the space for the elevators?

Seven of the 170 Storeys will have the 5 star hotel offering 200 rooms? I know that this tower is huge but i'm sure you can't fit 200 rooms in 7 floors...

Looks like the things going on in saudi arabia has had a affect with the construction speed. Might be wrong though.

No problem count just the space between the walls, and you get time 3 faces is 24 per floor, that 168. Now if you take some of those wider areas between walls, such as the end of each floor, that could easily be two rooms, which is 10 side, 30 per floor, 210 in 7 floors.
Those spaces between the concrete walls are not small, and hotels rooms are not huge.

If these first floors are rising at speed of 1 floor/2 weeks, then they might be working even faster than the speed of 1 floor/1 week

Simply because these floors are the biggest. The floors at 500m+ are nothing compared to these below 200m

HMMM I Dont think so ..

Everything in saudiarabia is ok now ..

oil prices are low but every thing is ok , a top of that Saudiarabia is now preparing for the next 5 years about the tourism .. for an example Jeddah new airport , Kingdom city , King abdullah sport city , some cool places to go ,,, , also riyadh city the big project King Abdullah Financial District they are still working and they didn't stop and its a government project . also we have a religious tourism mecca madina ,,,, so i think with the low oil prices its not gonna be a massive problem for ksa .
