Well, the building is getting thinner as it grows so the top floors should be done faster. Still 2018 is way too optimistic.

No, that's a dedicated concrete mix plant. For building Egyptian pyramids, they also had quarries nearby. And this pyramid is just as massive.

I'm not so sure that the end of 2018 is too optimistic. The slowest part of any building is its foundation and lower floors - all the more so for a building of this height. You can't really project based on the construction time to date. Once the building grows a bit higher it should start sailing along. Why don't we wait until the end of 2017 to start trying to figure out when it's completion date will be.
