There is a proposed demolition of Terminal 3 to expand space for T4. Why can't Terminal 2 be torn down, also? T2 is the most boring terminal in JFK Airport.
There are also plans to tear down Terminal 6 to make way for a possible expansion of Terminal 5, but how is T5 going to be expanded? And I don't know about Terminal 7.

T3 is going to be demolished and T4 and T2 will be connected via skywalk. T4 will undergo expansion. T6 is currently being demolished to make way for a dedicated international T5 building for jet blue |

was privileged to be part of a T4 tour at JFK yesterday...
took a couple of videos of Emirates A380... it landed during the afternoon hours (around 2:30pm); KE A380 around 11:30am, AF A380 landed around 3:30pm-ish... i'll have more pics as soon as i'm done editing them... there was a certain plane (can't tell what) that we can't include in the photos...

Terminal 2 is now the smallest terminal in JFK Airport, so I still wish it were demolished so T1 can be connected to the new skywalk to T4 instead.

Terminal 4 Expansion... the B-Wing extension should be complete by May of 2013, IIRC... adding new baggage carousels, expanding the departure lounge with 6-feet wide glass floor, integrated security check, 300m+ concourse to connect with T3, etc...
