Toronto Corners you would like to see re-developed
Make posts about any Toronto corner/intersection you think is in desperate need of redevelopment and ideas you have for that particular corner. If you can, feel free to include pics of that corner and/or fantasy drawings/renderings. Have fun!!

They should do something at the corner of Yonge Street and Dundas Street, to pick things up a bit and add a bit of spark!

No need for a wink, Spadina and College could use a little fixer upper.

King and Spadina - I like the intersection, but hate the Budget at the SE corner

Main and Danforth.
It has Subway, Streetcar, Bus, GO Train for mass transit. There is some density, but this is an area that should have much more. Plus it is a pretty tired nabe, but showing signs of revival.

1) Bay & Wellington, north east corner, instead of this (ugly) mid rise building
2) Dundas & Victoria (at Dundas Square), instead of Hakim Optical 3) Simcoe & Front, north east corner (instead of the parking lot) 4) Richmond & York, south east corner (instead of the mid rise building with a Starbucks, as far as I can remember) ... I can't remember the other ones, but if I were still in TO, there would probably be many other ones!! |

Dundas E and Church st or Dundas E and Jarvis St. Both are like 3rd world countries and just minutes from the, so called, heart of the city. I can't believe condos or hotels aren't going up in those areas, considering how close they are to Younge st. (and the subway) I'd like to see a new central library built around there.

I'd like to see the buildings on the North East corner of Church/Wellesley (where the Pizza Pizza is) restored to their former Victorian glory.
