If the whole place becomes successful, the money can be used to employ thousands which would, ahem, feed people, I believe. There's a poor community near where the Pagcor Tower and Casino would be built. They could find themselves employed, paid well, and finally move out of the shantytown they live in.

Insecure. You just cannot accept that the Philippines is growing. From your statement, it is very clear that it shows your ignorance. Research what is PAGCOR. the casinos in the Philippines (14 casinos and growing), the 3.5M tourists mostly from East Asia who come to our country for entertainment including playing at casinos. PAGCOR is not in charge of feeding the people. Okay?

Last time I checked, the casinos of Macao and Las Vegas didn't ruin a lot of lives. How are you sure this one casino will ruin lives? What casino built in the past has ruined a lot of lives?

Gambling is a highly debatable issue but this is not the forum to discuss it. There is already a thread in Philippine forum, so you can express your opinion or argue with the pros and cons of gambling. Thanks.

i'm so happy for this project as they run a billions of Dollars and the salary will be a USD $$$ too...that will be a big deal and good for our economy...i still appreciate the Government of Singapore and People's there...because they are supporting what the Singa. Gov. Project and they do start it ASAP when they have done to in dealing it..

I love to see the Future of Marina Bay of Singapore and Manila Bay of The Philippines by the end of 2010 or 2011...
