IMO the design needs to be changed, made more modern.

At present the design looks too conventional (may i say classic?). And it does not look Filipino.

For such an expensive project, it deserves the best possible design, one that represents the Philippines in the most modern and Asian way.

imo, pagcor should hold a design-making contest. it's better to do that so that more concepts would be welcomed

definitely! But I think it's too late already for construction will come soon. I hope they change its form into a more unique, geometric or out of this world form, but they can retain the bamboo-like skin.

lol. isn't the bamboo-oriented design too much overrated already?
the bank of china tower's and taipei 101's designs are based on the bamboo.
i think the design based on the philippines' sun is a nice concept. but still it's the podium where it is to be put and a bird's eye view would only be the chance to see that one.
im hoping that the whole tower itself would be revised and not only the glassy structure would be the main showcase. why not something like made from capiz?

Yes it was in the center of Manila District within the reclaimed land at Manila Bay and adjacent to SM City. That's why, if this will fully completed as planned, you can see much in this complex not just within it's territory but with the development along with its neighboring lands. The grandeur of it's totality would be amazing especially at night, seems you can see the bright sparkling and dancing lights like in Las Vegas, wow I can't wait to experience to see and enjoy the real thing.....

Maybe not Asia, but the World, because UAE is also part of Asia. It is touted to be the second tallest man-made structure/tower/building in the world, next to Burj Dubai.

^I've seen the ads on TV (CNN), and I really hope this would materialize amidst the global financial crisis.
