OT: napansin ko yung mga ducks sa greenbelt. naaawa lang ako sa kanila. parang mga ducks in the city. tho simulated naman ang natural habitat nila, pero mukha pa ring artificial. kakaawa lalo na pag natutulog na sila. andami kong reklamo. buti na lang di na ako nagagawi dun, so di ko alam kung me turnover na ba ng mga ducks on duty.

when I first inquired about this project, they told me 838 financing is not available on this project. That was last month.

The 1-br units at Eton parkview is now open for bank financing under the home 838 program of allied bank. we also have a payment scheme (for selected units) wherein you only pay 1% per month of your TCP until nov of 2011 and the balance on dec of 2011. parkview also has a mabuhay miles promo. the 1% per month payment scheme and mabuhay miles promo is good until march 31, 2008.

'No injuries, property damage in Makati bldg crash'
May 15, 2008

No casualties and property damage were reported following the collapse of an old building being demolished at the central business district of Makati City Thursday, officials said.

In a statement sent to ABS-CBN News, Eton Properties spokesman Mia Buenaventura said a portion of the parapet wall of the Parkview building at the corner of Legazpi and Gamboa street fell on the sidewalk during demolition works at 1:20 p.m.

"Clearing of the debris on the sidewalk is expected to be completed within the day. No casualties and no damage to property have been reported," she said.

Employees of the building beside the six-story Parkview said drilling works were ongoing when they heard a loud rumble before seeing a portion of the structure give way.

"Parang tunog ng tren bago gumuho," said traffic enforcer Marie Meruenas who timed the crash at 1:24 p.m.

Officials, meanwhile, said the building was already being demolished and that only two stories were standing when it collapsed.

Authorities confirmed that no one was injured but the incident caused heavy traffic in the area.

Meanwhile, Senior Police Officer 1 Marvin Fajilan of the Makati police said they have yet to receive a statement from Eton. With a report from David Dizon, abs-cbnNEWS.com

oi ingat ingat lang sa demolition. it's no joke na mabagsakan ng debris na 5 sq meters ang laki. aaron, usually ba hiwalay ang demolition sa construction? siguro dapat yun na rin yung contractor ng construction.

Eton hikes condo rates

LUCIO TAN-led Eton Properties Philippines has increased residential condominium prices across the board.

Danilo E. Lim, president and chief operating officer of Eton, told reporters yesterday the 5% increase imposed starting on June 2 was meant to cover rising construction costs.

"This is the first time we did an across-the-board price increase. Before, we only had periodic price increases," Mr. Lim said. "I understand that most of our [competitors] have likewise done the same thing."

He said the increase was meant to cover rising cement and steel prices, as well as the peso’s continued depreciation against the dollar. Steel has doubled to P66 per kilo this year from a year ago, he pointed out.
Construction costs have also gone up by 20%, which translates to a 10% increase in the selling price of the buildings.

"Despite the price increase, we still have strong sales," Mr. Lim said.

Yesterday, Eton opened the model units of its 34-story Eton Parkview Greenbelt, half of which has been sold.
