Something tells me that city on the pictures is not London, mostly because of vegetation not common for it's climate and some ornaments on buildings are not really compatible with classical Victorian way....hmmm.....

Hi there. The building to the left of the picture is called Portcullis House. It's one of the buildings within the estate of the Palace of Westminster. It's a governmental building and houses lots of the offices of the MP's. There's a bell in the building that rings every time there's some kind of vote in parliament and all the MPs rush over to the House of Commons to cast their vote. Apparently there's a tunnel that goes under the road between the 2 buildings (Westminster Bridge) so that MPs can go straight over to parliament without having to leave the security of either building and cross the busy road!
