Great thanks for the cost information Sercan.
Here's something for you, guess you've seen them already, but I haven't noticed any render that big here. Maybe it's time for yu to start a new Galata-specific thread? 6 images of the Seyrantepe Stadi

Haha, great to see I made someone smile
Where did I find them- let's make it my secret. No, really- the architects are great people nothing bigger though. As for the thread- don't keep people waiting too long c'mon. This thread is already unofficially the Turkish one (ain't nothing bad in it, keep it up!) so why not... Last edited by michał_; May 23rd, 2007 at 01:42 AM. Reason: English is a hard language :( |

I guess it was easy to predict- the 100mln declared at the beginning seemed impossible for a huge world class stadium with retractable roof...
Good to see this thread back

yeah
Actually therefore TOKi (state house builgind company) was against it 1-2 months ago "we said GS should make a 100-120 mil euro project. But this one is too expensive." But it stayed ![]() Actually the M.Köy project (old stadium area) is the main project. ![]() ![]() the stadium will be demolished and a congress center, hotel tower, 10 underground storey car park, etc is proposed to be planned The companies are just preparing there bids So, the company with the best M.Köy project (max. profit of the M.Köy project) will win the bid But they have to build first the stadium than, 600 days later, than can start the conctruction of the new M.köy complex. 25% of the M.köy money will go to TOKI. The rest to the company. The conctruction of the stadium is planned to be finished in max. 720 days. But maybe it can be finished also in 18 months

The new Gala stadium seems to have dragged on for ages. Why, discounting the Ataturk and Fener's stadium are there no other modern football arena's in such a football crazy city. You have the fantastic indoor arena yet both Gala and Bestiktas are lagging in facilities
