actually I favor this design too. It gives the building a form of elegance and distinction with the lighting on those (skylobbies) and plays off the floodlit tiers of 777 Fig. If this is the official rendering and it becomes this in reality it will be a welcomed addition to the skyline.

Even though i can not tell exactly what's going on with the roof line, this new one look's as if it could be a touch higher above the 777 tower, which is 725'.

I'm hoping it's higher than 750', if so, it would take the title of 3rd tallest from 2 California plaza.

I prefer the curviness of the original design to the new design's more slender figure.

Construction worker, Plumber, new Class "A" construction,(commercial/highrise)
Pipefitter, industral pipe installer, oil refinerys, drilling and pumping platforms

it's on hold.. cause of the new management .... as a result .. there's a chance that it may just be cut in half...

due to change in management ... i can't give any answer to where this project is headed..

sorry.. but if my source does get kicked off the project.. i'd release all the photos...

btw there still a hole in the building.. think 80' = )
