That's not a DDI, but a modified CFI (continuous-flow intersection). The main lanes of G8 at Ljubljana do not switch over to the other side. It's a relatively rare type of interchange though. There's one in Copenhagen as well: http://goo.gl/maps/tOLHN

Ok, that's useful to know. I was thinking maybe DDI was inspired from that type of interchange in Ljubljana or any other place on the planet before, as it serves as basis to evolve.

The new exit ramps at Egedesvej is supposed to be ready in 5 weeks, lets see about that.

Look in the background, theres a huge gap between the motorway bridge and the railway bridge.

But back to Egedesvej.

Ådalen lines up with the eastern ramps.

It's a 'Scott'. It was an upscale model when I bought it.

The speed limit may go up for cars + caravan to 100 km/h on motorways and 80 km/h on regular highways.

It depends on your car. France even allows 130 km/h with a caravan but few people do this. Especially with all the downsizing of engines pulling a caravan at such speeds is dangerous. Smaller cars have the same amount of horsepower as a large car used to have 10 years ago. But it doesn't make them ideal cars for towing a large caravan.

I have an Avensis 1.8, but I still prefer the speed close to 100 but never over it.

Construction around exit 32 in Køge

There was huge activity when looking from my usual vantage point at Ølsemaglevej but sadly there was a horrific crash just under the bridge so I didn´t like to take pictures.

More drive by shootings of the new exit 31B and the relocation of 32.

Pictures was taken yesterday.

First up is 31B at Egedesvej.
2 weeks to completion (31st of May), but lets see about that.

Next up is 32.

The western ramps will be relocated so instead of ending up at the roundabout it will end up next to Burger King/Statoil in something we danes calls a T-kryds, I don´t know the english term.

The bridge is for the new high speed line.

There is 9 days until exit 31B at Egedesvej should be done.

The 3rd lane on the right side will only be used as an access road for the homes.

In a week they have to turn left around the houses (right on this picture) on Ådalen and and drive onto Egedesvej in the intersection seen just before the bridge over the motorway.

So they have an adress on Egedesvej but will access Egedesvej from Ådalen.
Ådalen will be closed on that end that are closest to the S-train bridge.

Confused?, me to

They are working hard on that Intersection between Ådalen and Egedesvej, on the the other side of the intersection both eastern ramps to and from the motorway is located.

Public holidays in Denmark means no workers on the construction site at Egedesvej (an especially not after 21 in the evening).

I really wanted to take pictures of the other side of the bridge next to the western ramps and the bridge over the new high speed but I didn´t dare walking onto the new bridge.

Towards the north

Towards the south

Some more drive by shootings from exit 32 and north towards exit 29 on the Køge Bugt motorway.

Here they are preparing the railwaytunnel under the motorway just north of Køge.

It seems more and more obvious that its only the Egedesvej bridge that opens Monday morning, they have to make a huge effert during this weekend if the ramps are to be ready.

There is not even exit signs on the motorway yet.

Its maybe not the best picture but it shows the surface at the bottom of one of the western ramps.

Here they are laying the upper surface of the almost finished stage 1 between Greve Syd and Solrød Syd.
