Just a quick update here: Kuwait City is still butt-ugly.

Guys seem to be preoccupied with butts on this website for some reason!

OK...I've got London today so that's an improvement.
Did I mention that Kuwait City is really ugly?

Oh My God...it's a veritable Paris of the Plains. I have been to some of the world's most beautiful cities such as Prague, Rome, and Opa-Locka and never have I seen such grandeur and jaw-dropping opulence as Enid, Oklahoma. One can almost smell the fresh bread in the boulangeries...hear the witty banter of urbanites in the cafes.
Enid, c'est magnifique! |

I guess they (Enid folk) also have a knack for rubbing off their sarcastic humor on visiters hehe.
BTW, Miami Hurricanes won today and are headed to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. That isn't too far from Enid, right? |

We have a Great Depression era photo for the banner today, called "Lunch at the Rockefeller".
That Miami Beach banner reminds me of Hawaii,Wakiki to be more specific with all of the tall palm trees in the foreground with the lit up hotels in the background. What a beautiful area South Beach is and the vast improvements the city has made. |

I like when they show out of the way/unknown places or vintage photos such as the one you described. The big city skyline ones are cool but who hasn't seen those places a million times? Kinda nice to see something different.
(Enid WILL have its day)

It seems the banner is looking for a date tag somewhere. Some testing confirms this. Check the time/date of the pc you're using. It likely says June 4th.
By changing the date of the pc, I can tell you that tomorrow's banner will be Lodz (the Polish Enid?). The 11th will be a Croatian Myspace. |
