well what i do to counter that usually is scale down the model in SU before exporting to Kt.

Big thanks to you Kumffi, for all this. I just started using KT a week ago and I have really improved my renders thanks to your tuts.

Thank you Kmuffi for your excellent help. I was profoundly inspired by your renderings and decided to try myself.
I have the following problem: I downloaded kerkythea first, and then the zip file with the exporter and copied the files to my sketchup folder. It said in the README txt file that i should just copy the contents and that the folder containing sketchup would remain unchanged.

Now, sketchup has been deleted. I tried it first without the exporter and it did export the file, but exported it as 3ds format. Looking at the export options in the file menu, it didn't show xml format as an option

Did I do this wrong or am i just a retard? any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you Kmuffi! I spent a lot of time figuring the basics by myself, and then I found out you laid down everything I needed to know. I've a lot of questions and in time i'll post them along with examples.

Now where can I get materials? post some links someone plz?!

You can create materials on your own (and mat libraries)
some libraries are here: http://www.kerkythea.net/joomla/inde...nc=select&id=3

Pretty cool. I should start using Kerky. Indigo renders are damn good, but it's painfully slow. I've seen some impressive Kerky renders, and I heard it's faster.

How does it render? Row-by-row, pixel-by-pixel, etc.? Indigo renders pixel-by-pixel and it takes forever, regardless of how intricate the scene is.

Tell me on what material please.
Most times you can decrease it like this here

and put instead of 1.00 a lower number like 0.7 in
works with glass and so on

I have some questions - whenever i apply a reflective/shiny material, they appear totally black (unless i view them from a certain angle). Is this normal? or could it be a problem with my graphics card or something.

Also, how do i export Jpeg image from an angle/view that i want - whenever i select file>save image it does not take the image from the location i want it to.

Can you please give more information about the "black things"?

somehow i get it like you dont really render your pictures...
please give me a screen from your problem.

and you pressed "start render"?

I dont know where to post my question, so I decided this thread is the right one!

A easy floor add method was described by someone here.

but it still doesnt work by me.

So i explain how i tried it until now and I hope aomeone will find my mistake!

so here we go!

1) I create a floor

2) i make of it a component

3) i copy it

4) i draw a line to adjust the height of the floors...

5) i paste it to this point.......and now i cant type in anything like (50 x ENTER!) to add easily 50 floors auromaticaley!

where is my mistake?
