I must admit that I am not the biggest fan of the Library Tower, but IMO its greatness comes from both placement and design.

Probably LA's most famous skyscraper. I love the crown at night, and the slenderness of the building. 8/10

I give this one a 9/10. I love the shape. The first time I saw this one, I thought it was a residential tower.

10 The best skyscraper in California by far
I love the corncob look of this building... love the sleek curves... soaring to the heavens... VERY TALL! And with a brilliant and unique crown... |

Looks really majestic and elegant!! Even more with the clean cut whitish cladding the the crown that looks great!
LA's best IMO! The top is lighted every bit as well as it should be at night too!! Great stuff 10/10

9/10 only because I was able to go in it to the roof when it was still under construction.

I've heard people say that they hate this building, but why?
This is my home town and that where i live i can see it tower over the other 15+ 500 footers that are downtown. This is my favorite building in the country though Sears tower and Transamerica in San Fran are great rivals. I think people have a problem with it because it is the tallest building West of the Mississippi and their city doesn't claim that right. In my life i have traveled to many different types of cities, to New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Atlanta ect. I'm Amazed by their stifes. But Los Angeles is my favorite city and the Library Tower is my favorite building. SORRY!
