Buses in Bucharest, Romania

I'll start...

In Bucharest, buses, trolleybuses and trams are operated by RATB (Regia Autonomă de Transport Bucureşti), while the metro system and it's trains are operated by Metrorex. There's talking for several years now about uniting RATB & Metrorex into AMT (Autoritatea Metropolitană de Transport/Metropolitan Transport Authority) but I don't know when it's gonna happen...

NOTE: In some cases, the numbers are rough estimates.

500 x Mercedes Citaro +500 on order

298 x Rocar De Simon U412

236 x DAF SB220

Ikarus 260 to be phased out

40 x Iveco TurboCity-U 480

DAC 122 UDM to be phased out

2 x DAF Berkhof

HESS

1 x Rocar Autodromo

Here are some major Canadian transit operators:

VANCOUVER

CALGARY

EDMONTON

WINNIPEG

TORONTO AND SURROUNDING AREAS

MONTREAL

I think that's enough for now... I'll add Quebec City, Halifax, St. Johns later.

Both buses and rail transit in Salt Lake City are operated by the Utah Transit Authority.

I have just one picture to post, but it represents the style of all of our buses.

Winnipeg is home of the New Flyer bus company. They supply the majority of Canada & the United States's transit buses. Such as these in Milwaukee:

Næstved in Denmark, along mith most other provincial cities has special super-low-floor buses for special routes designed for the elderly and disabled. They are usually shorter than regualr buses but can be used by anyone:

Santiago (Chile) Buses...
The TRANSANTIAGO system works by combining local bus lines, main bus lines and the METRO (subway) network. It includes an integrated fare system, which allows passengers to make bus-to-bus or bus-to-metro transfers for the price of one ticket, using a single contactless smartcard.
